All the soaps featured are cold process or hot process soaps, made from scratch from the finest ingredients. A lot of thought, research, and love go into every batch of soap. They are made by hand in small batches, and once made they cure for about four weeks to ensure that they are mild, skin nourishing, and a complete pampering experience for your skin.
Why handmade soaps, you ask? You might be surprised to hear that the commercial bars you may be buying are not soap at all. They are actually synthetic detergent. The reason they leave you "squeaky clean" is because they are stripping your skin of all its oils. A good soap should wash off the dirt and excess oils, but replace those oils, leaving your skin soft and moisturized. If you've never used handmade soap, I promise you, you're in for a real treat.
Your soap will come to you wrapped in terry or fabric with a paper label, perfect for gift giving. If you would like the option of purchasing a soap unwrapped, with just a paper label, that is an option. The cost would be $4.00 per bar.

One word about handmade soaps -- to make your bar last as long as possible, try to keep it dry between uses. If you let it sit in a wet soapdish it will melt away on you quickly. One great tip also is that you can cut your bar in half and use one half at a time. Sometimes they are easier to handle that way, plus it will last longer.
